BIBLE REFERENCES:
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he grows older, he will not abandon it.
Isaiah 55: 10-11 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it produce and sprout, and providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My Word be which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.
ADVANCED PREPARATION:
Set up a TRAIN STATION CENTER: cardboard box for train, conductor dress-up etc.
Create a BULLETIN BOARD display with stream train images.
EN ROUTE TO THE CLASSROOM WITH THE CHILDREN:
Stop at the stream train display. Tell the children: “We can pretend we are on a steam train and Jesus is the train driver/engineer. He wants to take us to good places! Here is your imaginary ticket. Your ticket is the WORD OF GOD. Are you ready? ALL ABOARD! CHOO-CHOO! Here we go!”

BIBLE LESSON:
- (Proverbs 22:6) Using flashcards PDF, teach the Bible verse. Then, scramble the words and ask a student to unscramble them. Younger children can try the first 3 words only; older children can try more.

- Who makes the Laws about RIGHT and WRONG? (God)
- Who leads us in the RIGHT WAY? Why? (God, because He wants good things for us)
